Shizuka Kai and Randi Edmundson will lead FREE public lectures on March 20 and 21. Shizuka Kai is a seasoned multidisciplinary artist with over 12 years of professional experience in puppetry and set design. Randi Edmundson is a versatile producer, director, designer and performer. She serves as the artistic producer of Little Onion Puppet Co. Wednesday, March 20, 9:30?10:30 a.m. - The two practitioners share their personal practices and journeys to puppetry. Thursday, March 21, 9:00?10:00 a.m. - Shizuka and Randi discuss Otosan, a new tabletop puppet show for young audiences based on Shiz and her father. It's a multidisciplinary project that they have been developing since 2019, collaborating with deaf artists to ensure it's accessible and exciting for the deaf community.
