Apologies – noted an error in the text. Please find amended message below:

The School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University, are advertising for a full-time and permanent lecturer in Top-Predator Population.

This is a teaching and research role. The successful applicant will: (1) help develop undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and (2) have opportunities to develop a research team at the School.

The School of Ocean Sciences is based in Anglesey, north Wales. There is an abundant and diverse marine mammal community in the region, including several resident cetacean species, providing ample and convenient opportunities to develop field-based teaching and research. The school also has several research vessels, well suited to collecting concurrent oceanographical and biological information, and deploying and recovering seabed moorings. There is a multi-discipline emphasis in our teaching and reaching, facilitated by oceanographers and biologists working alongside one-another on campus, and regular seminars where teaching and research opportunities are discussed.
