Dear MARMAMers

KAI Marine Services (www.kaiexpeditions.com ) announces its 2014

Malta ( Mediterranean Sea) during the months of July, August and
September in the context of the European project LIFE+ MIGRATE. A

These courses are a unique opportunity for anyone interested in
learning about the study of marine biodiversity, participating

framework of the European Union Habitat Directive.

Participants will learn basic concepts of navigation and shipboard
surveys, participating in lookouts, cetacean sighting recording,
acoustic recording, photo-identification image collection, sea turtle
tagging, genetic sampling and recording data on human activities.

During the seven day courses, lectures will be given by experienced
