The American Cetacean Society is currently taking registrations for  
the 13th Biennial International Conference, "Whales and Humans: A  
Conflicted Relationship," taking place November 9-11, 2012 in San  
Diego, California. Join ACS and the foremost cetacean researchers and  
conservationists in the world to understand the historically  
conflicted relationship between whales and humans, the impacts of this  
relationship, past and present, and strategies for shaping this
