Wanted to mention that David Pryce-Jones devotes a brief chapter to Larry in his recent book, Signatures: Literary Encounters of a Lifetime (2020). Price-Jones met Larry around the time of the publication of Constance. The chapter concludes: “Within a few volatile years, a change of taste had turned his fiction first into a requiem and then, without warning, it vanished out of sight down one of the twentieth century’s literary rabbit holes.”
