Hastily, Rony - email something quickly to Pamela Francis who is putting together the next Herald now, I guess ( sent my usual Pudding Island contribution a couple of weeks ago) - that will reach the whole ILDS membership; use also Facebook and Twitter both of which have followers well beyond the confines of the ILDS membership

Crowdfunding seems to me to be best approach but not sure if you have yet identified a translator ( I can let you have a contact if that helps) or project cost.

Think also ILDS should consider a publications officer to advise would -be authors and publishers on such projects as yours

For translators, it's an expensive undertaking and few scholarly publishers fund it directly these days. Large cultural organizations can be amenable, but for non-commercial publications, you'll probably find the best luck through government and arts organizations or by fundraising (such as through GoFundMe and crowdsourcing).

The ILDS may be able to help coordinate that kind of fundraising.

I am happy to announce the Routledge have now offered to publish the English edition of my book on Durrell's The Alexandria Quartet which was published in Hebrew in December 2016.
