Rony first congratulations! Second – sadly you have reached out to the most
apathetic, moribund and non-interactive of all major author study-and-fan
groups. Sadly, everyone on the ILDS seems paralyzed with sadness that
Durrell is not more popular. Where is the Durrell-and-Nancy romance movie
starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Emma Stone?

Sorry – just trying to be amusing – but this is sometimes called ‘kidding
on the square,’ meaning there is an element of truth. One thought – you
might look into crowd-sourcing, and try to seed it with money from your U
and the Israeli Gov.
