Subject: [ilds] OMG XIX and new Executive Board

We have just completed another great OMG, this time on the beautiful isle of Crete. I want to thank Anna Lillios and her crew of conference organizers. I heard probably the best papers so far with many new participants tossing out fresh ideas and giving us all much to think about. But it was not all work: Anna had organized two wonderful tours that took us into the mountains beyond Rethymnon, into tavernas for great food, and into sites important to the WWII resistance.

And we elected a strong Executive Board for 2016-2018: 
At-Large Members: Charles Sligh, Isabelle Keller-Privat, and Grace Austin
Secretary-Treasurer: Paul Lorenz (of course!)
Vice President: Pamela Francis
President: James Clawson

Congratulations to all of them!

So I sign off as President and assume my new role as the latest Past President, looking forward to lots more Durrell.
