As editor of the ILDS Herald, I’m sending out a general request for 
items of interest to Durrellians, to be included in the spring 2015 
edition of the Herald. These items can include notices of conferences 
that are related to Durrell, his cohort, or modernism in general, 
summaries of visits to Durrell sites, and any other item 
related—directly or indirectly—to Larry or Gerald Durrell, Henry Miller, 
Anais Nin, Elizabeth David, the Cairo Poets, and others from that 
milieu. I am also interested in any Durrell-related works that may have 
escaped the notice of Google alerts, especially new translations of his 
work or his introductions to other works. Photographs of Durrell-related 
sites are also welcome.

Please send these items to Pamela J. Francis, editor, ILDS Herald, at 
<pamelajofrancis at gmail.com> Please include your name and some sort of 
biographical context (Durrell scholar, general bibliophile, world 
traveler), as well as your email address.

I look forward to hearing from you, and I look forward to putting 
together an interesting and informative newsletter for my fellow 
Durrellians.
