Dear Wendy:

Wonderful to see your post and read your introduction.  I especially want
to thank you for sharing your recollections of Lawrence Durrell's
mentorship.  Such memories are at once precious and perishable, so I do
hope that you will capture those stories in some way so that they are kept
against the time.

When we gathered in London in 2012 to celebrate Larry Durrell's 100th
birthday, we held an exhibition at Foyle's Books where over a dozen
friends, family members, and collectors shared their memories with old
photos, personal letters, Oscar Epfs paintings, and spoken testimony.
This writer touched our lives, changed our story lines, and created
friendships that would have never come into being without his books. My
gratitude!
