Dear Charles , I am Wendy Beckett , my father and Sam shared a common grandfather so  I was his great niece. I lived and studied with Lawrence Durrell. Thanks to Larry who took me to LA I also lived at Anais Nins house with her husband (number two): Rupert Pole. I found your thread from 5 years ago and thought I might say hello.

And yes I am a playwright like Sam nowhere near as depressing ( joking). And yes Larry was an uncle figure. I live between Australia, New York and Paris. Like Sam I also write in French. (but usually in English)  I am currently writing a play for Gerard Depardieu in French for Paris theatre and I have completed one recently for Juliette Binochet about Camille Claudel.
