[ilds] Durrell's Correspondence

I doubt whether Dr Gifford would have the time to devote to such a task. But it's a one-man or two-person job, not a large team effort. One simply requires time, patience and persistence - and the inside track, of course. RP

 OK
 – we’re going to need an expert in weapons, munitions,
demolition, and high explosives – that’s Bruce. David,
you handle the planning and all the blueprints. Marc –
you’re in charge of languages and translation. Merrianne
 – you charm them and then give them the ‘Mickey Finn’
knock-out drops. Sumantra – you’re in charge of all the
 electronics.

And James – you do all
 the actual work.
 Cheers - Ken

which has already been exhaustively covered) is not a
complicated matter -  clearly the compilation would be
onerous, to ferret out the less accessible items, but
editing would be simple and straightforward. I'm sure
there would be a readership and a publisher. And the estate
would like it. The major editorial decision would involve
the decision: should this be only letters from LD, or the
replies also? Letters to LD, and his replies? etc etc.
