Thanks to you, David, and to Lyn too for your excellent work putting together the Durrell-Miller radio program. David R. and I were so glad to have the chance to listen to it (we thank Ken Gammage), and we were more than happy to let others know about the broadcast through the ILDS Herald. We hope that you will come to Vancouver and engage Durrellians there on your process and the wonderful results.

We hope also that you will continue your work in radio journalism.

Best,

Anne (and regards from David R.)

>I would like to thank the editors of ILDS Herald for acknowledging the ABC program Lawrence Durrell and Henry Miller: a Wartime Correspondence, which I scripted and helped produced with Lyn Gallacher earlier this year. The program was my first foray into radio journalism and I hope it will not be the last. Thanks also to Charles Sligh for putting me in touch with Ian MacNiven, Michael Haag and Joanna Hodgkin, who were all wonderful interviewees and wrote back favourably to me about the program. Ian has invited me to Athens NY for some local beer and I am sure that one day I will find Michael's literary bunker somewhere in London. I had been trying for some time to get a program out about Larry and with luck a draft manuscript landed on Lyn's desk and we met and she said "do it!" And so it goes..
