Subject: [ilds] My work on Lawrence Durrell

Dear Friends,
I am happy to inform you that a few weeks ago my PhD. was approved . The
title of my work is: "Exile and Creativity - a Psychoanalytical Study of
Lawrence Durrell's The Alexandria Quartet". It is' to the best of my
knowledge, the first academic work in Hebrew dealing with Durrell. He is
not well known in Israel. the only two books that have been translated were
Justine and Balthazar. I hope that my work will do some to remedy this. I
have a very good and reputable publisher in Israel who wants to publish the
work but needs private funding to do so. so, I am turning to you, good
people, hoping that you can help me to support this project. if you know of
anyone who might be kind enough to assist me, please refer them to my email
and I will contact them.

     Congratulations!  Your thesis sounds interesting and worthy of being published.



     I suggest you use Kickstarter as a means of raising money among family and friends.

I agree. Kickstarter is a great way to raise money- a friend managed to raise $4000. for her project.
Also, try publishers- knopf might be interested in doing translations.
I am a psychotherapist and really interested in the work you are doing.
