It was very fine to have that extended treatment of /The Alexandria 
Quartet/, a book which is clearly capable of surprising new readers.  
And that was quite a coup to have the Guardian set aside space for 
hosting the discussion over those many weeks.  (My appreciation goes out 
to Sam Jordison.  Sam persisted in his arguments for the Durrell 
Centenary online reading group, and he followed up on my insistence that 
the discussion should be extended for a treatment of all four books.  
Well done, Sam.)

As for your other point, I think a revival is certainly possible. The 
key questions would be about the platform and time commitment. That 
said, please count your support as noted.
