As Charles Sligh has just reported on the Durrell2012 Twitter feed, 
Peggy Glanville-Hick's opera /Sappho/, which used Durrell's libretto, 
has been released on CD and is being broadcast on ABC Classic FM at 
7:00pm, Sun 04 Nov 2012:

This is a marvelous project to see come to fruition, and I hope those 
who were in London this summer will remember Mark Morris' very fine 
discussion of Durrell's plays, which ended by considering 
Glanville-Hicks' setting of /Sappho/.
