Attached (in both MSWord and pdf formats) is the ?nnouncement, Call for Papers, and Application Form for the Durrell School of Corfu's seminar to mark the centenary of the birth of Lawrence Durrell: LAWRENCE DURRELL AND CORFU: A CENTENARY APPRAISAL. This will take place in Corfu, 20-27 June 2012, and has been timed to follow closely the ILDS Centenary Conference, DURRELL 2012, in London. We hope that many of you who will be at the London conference will want to come on to Corfu afterwards. The Corfu seminar will begin with an early evening Reception at the Durrell School on Wednesday 20 June, and conclude with a farewell dinner a week later on Wednesday 27 June. Travelling from London to Corfu is very easy in the summer, as there are direct early morning flights every day, with additional flights on Mon 18 June and Tues 19 June, as follows: Easyjet has early morning flights from London Gatwick every day of the week, with an additional afternoon flight on Monday 18 June; Easyjet also has a morning flight from London Luton on Tuesday 19 June; Ryan Air has an early morning flight from London Stansted on Monday 18 June. Return flights follow the same pattern. This means you could fly from London to Corfu on any day between the end of the London Conference and the start of the Corfu seminar (including 20 June).
