Alas, I suppose I'm an academic, which must have robbed me of my 
humanity...  ;)  I'll go home to feast on the blood of innocents with my 
"reading" and "marking" and other nefarious endeavours.  I should add, 
just because I find something fascinating (the lovely new bottle of 
Laphroaig I picked up at David's prompting, for instance) doesn't mean 
it's at all important.  I'm quite sure my glass this evening with the 
fine new edition of Duncan's H.D. Book will be fascinating and of 
utterly no importance.

As for Charles, I suspect he's still spelunking in the archive, though 
probably now in Ljubljana rather than Zagreb.  Who knows how the wifi 
works such libraries...  We can only hope he returns with boons for our
