I now recall that word from LD's own writing, when I had to look it up.
You're right. It makes sense in the context Aldington uses, too. I missed
the significance this time: I thought "Salaudmon" was some character's name
or a variation of Solomon or of Saladin, maybe, because of Aldington's
reference to "wisdom". But he was really just affectionately labeling LD a
narcissistic cunt who would sit for both their portraits!
