Durrellians--

The deadline for proposal submissions to OMG XVI, Durrell and the  
City:Reconstructing the Urban Landscape, has been extended to January  
15, 2010. Please send all proposals by email to dkaczv at latech.edu with  
the subject line "Durrell and the City" and include a 250-word  
abstract, a brief bio, and academic or professional information.

Due to a family emergency, I have not been able to acknowledge  
proposals aleady sent but will do so as soon as possible, probably  
within the next week.

Thanks for all your good proposals so far. I think the conference is  
shaping up to be a very fine tribute for the 50th anniversary of the  
Quartet.
