I should also add, I'm in the midst of reading Maria Bloshteyn's /The
Making of a Counter-Culture Icon: Henry Miller's Dostoevsky/, and it has
an excellent discussion of Durrell, Miller, and Nin in the Villa Seurat.
Very exciting work, and significantly reworked from her dissertation,
if anyone read it in that form.
