Dear Richard Pine,

The personification of "Art" aside, you must be
a crotchety old coote to publically reply to someone's 
email like this. Or is it just women on this list that you 
are pre-disposed to ruflling? I don't think Durrell would 
be quite so harsh in his social demeanor, if he had had 
email access to on-line discussions.

Just kickstarting a near-dormant list  
but otherwise, lurking to learn ...

    I do not think this is about semantics. This is about reality and obscuring reality by verbiage.

    Art does not create its own world. Even artists do not create their own worlds. But isn't it pretty to think that they do? 

    And this is about ideas.
