We are a growing group of students concerned about the direction the province and country is headed--fiscally, socially and environmentally. We envision a government that simply balances the books, treats people with dignity, and properly cares for our environmental heritage. Like most British Columbians, most of us have never been involved in politics. But each of us have come to the conclusion that, in order to create the government and world we want to live in, it is important to act--on an ongoing basis. As Greens, we’ve decided that, rather than merely protest, write letters to government, and wish governments would perform on behalf of citizens, it is incumbent on us as citizens to form that government. And that while we work to form that government, the stronger the Green Party gets, the more the Green Party sets the political agenda of other parties! UVic Greens is an autonomous group of students that speaks not only for the Green Party, but to the Green Party—for you! In other words, while we do support the principles and goals of the Green Party, we are not a subsidiary of the Party. So please, give us your ideas and feedback on the Party, and we will be happy to see that it gets to the right people! Subscribing to UVicGreens
Subscribe to UVicGreens by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
